Being ready is all or nothing. We either are or we aren’t. Threats never come with a warning. Invaders don’t knock on the door or announce their arrival.
These are the reasons why we burn so many hours training. Why our muscles throb and our eyes ache and heads hurt in constant pursuit of preparedness.
Because we need to be more prepared than them. Because we have something and someone to live for. We will defend our family, our freedom and our pursuit of happiness. We will be prepared. We will train smarter than the rest. When Danger is Close. We will be ready.
